Mohawk Airlines was an airline that operated in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, primarily the states of New York and Pennsylvania from the mid-1940s until its acquisition by Allegheny Airlines in 1972. At its height, it employed over 2,200 personnel and pioneered several technical and social aspects of regional airline operations,[citation needed] including being the first airline in the United States to hire an African American flight attendant. In 1958 Mohawk moved its headquarters from Ithaca to Oneida County Airport in the Town of Whitestown, New York, near Utica. The airline began operations in 1945 as Robinson Airlines out of Ithaca Municipal Airport near Ithaca, New York, flying single engined, three passenger Fairchild F-24 aircraft. As it grew in the 1950s, the Douglas DC-3 became its primary aircraft, the Convair CV-240, CV-440''s and Martin 4-0-4''s were integrated into its fleet later. The airline also experimented with helicopter service between New York and Catskill Mountains resorts with limited success.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is a racing game for PC, developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. Hot Pursuit is a remake of the original NFS series, released in 1998. The game returns the series to its roots, by giving the player a chance to become either a racer or a member of the police. Hot Pursuit’s gameplay offers two career paths, each coming with different perks and upgrades, as well as other interesting features. The game was well-received by critics, who praised it for bringing back the old-school Need for Speed experience into the 21stcentury.Choose your careerLike the original Hot Pursuit series, the remake features two career paths for the player to choose from. Players can either take the side of racers or cops. Choosing on the side determines the mechanics of the races the player can participate in. Both racers and cops collect the bounty, which can be later spent on unlocking new vehicles and events. The layer collects bounty by winning events as well as performing certain actions during them, such as damaging or wrecking other cars, reaching top speed, drifting or making close calls with other vehicles, and many more.High-velocity gameplayLike every other game in the need for speed series, Hot Pursuit focuses on the high-speed car races. The player can participate in different types of races, scattered across the region of Seacrest County, based on the Pacific West Coast areas of The United States. The types of races depends on the career the player decided to choose. Racers can participate in the Arms Race, Duel, Gauntlet, and ordinary Race. Cops participate in Hot Pursuit, Interceptor and Most Wanted. Both careers also feature a free drive mode, where the player can take any of their vehicles on a casual ride across the region. During the event, the player can use a different type of equipment, which they can use to gain upper hand over other racers or aid them in pursuit. The equipment at the player’s disposal are Helicopter assist and Roadblocks for cops, and signal jammers and turbo for the racers. Both factions can use EMP and spike strips.Hottest rides on the planetNFSHot Pursuit features a set of over 50 cars. Most of the vehicles available in the game come in both cop and racer variants, however, there are some exclusives, which only one faction can drive. The cars are divided by tier, from one to five. The higher the tier of the car the better the performance on the road. The cars include popular brands such as Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Chevrolet, Ford, Lamborghini, Porsche and more.Multiplayer and the Autolog systemNeed for Speed: Hot Pursuit features an online multiplayer mode, where players can face each other in events as either cops or racers. Race modes are similar to those of the single-player mode. Hot pursuit special feature is the Autolog system, which serves as a networking suite for players. The system allows the player to see their friends’ results and photos that were taken in-game on a Speed Wall and Autolog Recommendations point out races where the player’s friends achieved better results. It’s an excellent system allowing the players to keep in touch with each other’s progress.ReceptionNeed for Speed Hot Pursuit received favorable reviews from critics and fans, who praised the series’ return to its roots. Special praises went to the online modes of the game which allowed players to compete online and check their progress through the Autolog.

A never-before-seen and newly restored cut of Francis Ford Coppola’s spectacular cinematic masterpiece in a way which the director believes “looks better than it has ever looked and sounds better than it has ever sounded”. Apocalypse Now was nominated for 8 Academy Awards® (including Best Picture) and won 2 Academy Award® for Best Cinematography and Best Sound, 2 BAFTAs for Best Direction and Best Supporting Actor and the Palme d’Or in Cannes. Starring Academy Award® winner Marlon Brando (1972, Best Actor, The Godfather), Academy Award® winner Robert Duvall (1983, Best Actor, Tender Mercies), Golden Globe® winner Martin Sheen (2001, Best Actor – TV Series, “The West Wing”), Academy Award® nominee Dennis Hopper (1986, Best Supporting Actor, Hoosiers), Academy Award® nominee Laurence Fishburne (1993, Best Actor, What’s Love Got to Do with It), and Academy Award® nominee Harrison Ford (1985, Best Actor, Witness), the film follows Army Captain Willard (Martin Sheen), a troubled man sent on a dangerous and mesmerizing odyssey into Cambodia to assassinate a renegade American colonel named Kurtz (Marlon Brando), who has succumbed to the horrors of war and barricaded himself in a remote outpost. The best visual and sound technologies have been used to present Coppola’s true vision of the film: one that delivers deep, visceral visual and auditory impact. “The audience will be able to see, hear and feel this film how I always hoped it could be—from the first ‘bang’ to the final whimper” said the film-maker. All three versions of this film are available on this release including Apocalypse Now: The Final Cut, Apocalypse Now: Theatrical Cut, and Apocalypse Now Redux Extended Cut. Restored from the original negative for the first time ever, Apocalypse Now Final Cut is Coppola’s most complete version of his multi-awarded classic. This is the first time the original negative has ever been scanned and over 11 months and 2,700 hours were spent on cleaning and restoring the film’s 300,173 frames. Brought to life through ultra-vivid picture quality with Dolby Vision®, delivering spectacular colours never before seen on a screen, with highlights that are up to 40 times brighter, and blacks that are 10 times darker. It has also been mixed in Dolby Atmos® to offer a truly immersive sound experience and it has been enhanced Meyer Sound Laboratories’ newly developed Sensual Sound™, a technology engineered to output audio below the limits of human hearing.
